Il Presidente Bouteflika ha inaugurato la moschea restaurata di Ketchaoua e le estensioni della metropolitana di Algeri
Lunedì scorso, durante una visita nella Capitale, il Presidente della Repubblica, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, ha inaugurato la moschea di Ketchaoua dopo il suo restauro e due estensioni della metropolitana di Algeri che collegano la Grande Poste alla Piazza dei Martiri e Hai El Badr ad Ain Naadja.
Il Presidente della Repubblica ha così inaugurato la moschea di Ketchaoua che si trova all’ingresso della Kasbah. Considerata patrimonio dell’umanità dall’UNESCO, la moschea di Ketchaoua è stata chiusa nel 2008 a causa del suo deterioramento in seguito al terremoto che ha colpito Algeri e i suoi dintorni nel maggio 2003.
I lavori di restauro su questo sito sono stati effettuati dall’Agenzia per il coordinamento e la cooperazione (TIKA) turca, con il contributo di aziende ed archeologi algerini, in base all’accordo firmato nel settembre 2013 dalle autorità algerine e turche.
Il Capo dello Stato ha quindi inaugurato la nuova stazione della metropolitana nella Piazza dei Martiri e ha partecipato ad una proiezione video che illustrava le varie fasi del progetto di estensione della metropolitana della Capitale.
Con le due estensioni (Grande-Poste – Martyrs Square e Hai El Badr – Ain Naadja), la metropolitana di Algeri si estende su una lunghezza di circa 18 km ed è composta da 16 stazioni che vanno dalla Piazza dei Martiti a El-Harrach, per raggiungere una distanza di 35 km alla fine del progetto.
Dopo aver inaugurato la moschea di Ketchaoua e la nuova stazione della metropolitana di Piazza dei Martiri, il Presidente Bouteflika ha preso la metropolitana per la stazione di Aïn Naâdja, dove gli è stato riservato un caloroso benvenuto da parte degli abitanti di questo quartiere popolare, a Piazza dei Martiri, dove è stato accolto con applausi e youyous.
